On Monday, we at ActionCOACH Nottingham, Lincoln & Newark hosted another fantastic GrowthCLUB.
Our second GrowthCLUB of the year brought together a brilliant group of business owners for a focused day of planning, strategy, and collaboration, all centred around building momentum for the next 90 days.
It was great to see so much energy in the room, with business owners taking time out of their day-to-day operations to work on their businesses rather than just in them.

Harry took home two awards:
- Best Sales Increase
- Best Gross Profit Increase
Over the past quarter, Harry has really focused on strengthening both sales and marketing. He’s also made some tough but important decisions around customer selection, prioritising the contracts that deliver the strongest returns. A brilliant example of strategic focus driving results. Well done, Harry!
Mark and Sarah Smith (Newark Cylinders)
Mark and Sarah achieved a best-ever gross profit result this quarter, a fantastic milestone and a reflection of consistent effort and smart decision-making. Well done to you both.
Book of the Quarter: The Culture Code by Daniel Coyle
This quarter’s book, The Culture Code by Daniel Coyle, explores something that is often overlooked in business: culture.
Too often, business owners focus heavily on strategy, sales, and operations, while culture is treated as a “nice-to-have.” In reality, it is a necessity; it underpins performance, accountability, and long-term growth.
It was therefore very fitting to make this the focus of our GrowthCLUB discussions this quarter, and to explore how strong cultures are built and sustained.
